Good day ladies. My name is Olabisi Adebiyi and I am honored to be here with you today. How are you all doing today? I am going to be speaking to you about her purpose.
I like using myself as examples of what I teach because it shows people that I have been where they are and I can tell them my experience and hopefully, they can learn something from it and use it to be better person.
Jer 1:5 "I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations." (GNB)
This means that God has a plan. He doesn’t do things without an end achievement in mind. He is focused on what He wants to achieve. He is deliberate in his actions and He is conscious of his investment.
Remember growing up. I am a pastor’s daughter. I was pretty ‘forward’ very playful. I was a too talkative and very expressive. I loved attention but rather loved doing good things to attract the attention. I was in the children’s choir, drama, bible reading etc. I wanted to be everywhere there was an audience that would allow me to express my willfulness. Now that I’m older, I can see that everything about my life is according to the plan of God. Now I am a life coach, speaker, fashion entrepreneur, worship leader among others. I am still very expressive but now, it is directed towards the purpose of God for my life.

YOU ARE AN INVESTMENT ON THE EARTH. Everything in your life is created just the way God wants it. You are not an unwanted pregnancy. God wasn’t distracted when you were conceived. He did say, oh dear… how did that happen!? Your life story has been written before you were born and God decided to invest you on the earth for the reason of this will.
YOU ARE NOT THE CUSTODIAN OF YOUR PURPOSE.
This might come as a shock to some ladies who think that they have to discover and OWN their purpose. You are not the
owner or the keeper of your purpose. God owns all things and in him do ALL things exist including your
purpose. He knows what he wants you to do and how he wants you to do it.
Eph 1:11 All things are done according to God's plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own
people in union with Christ because of his own purpose, based on what he had decided from the very
beginning. (GNB)
If you read the above scripture, you would see that God had decided to make us His children through
Christ because that is what He wants.

YOUR PURPOSE IS NOT A ONE TIME DISCOVERY BUT A LIFE JOURNEY.
There’s this rave that I need you to be very careful about. There is a purpose rave sweeping around town now. This rave is not new. It happened when I was much younger so the cycle of people screaming
and shouting about purpose discovery is on again. You don’t DISCOVER your purpose. It is woven in the story of your life. For every stage and level you are, there is a purpose you are meant to achieve. There
is a reason why you are where you are. You need to ask God to reveal that to you then work at it.
Also, you need to know that you have a call of God upon your life. That call is specific and important for you to know. How do you know this call? ASK. Jesus said in Mat 7:7 "Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. You need to ask God to show you what his call is upon your life. I would like you to pray.
When praying this particular prayer, I
need you to pray a lot in the Holy Ghost.
Sometimes, we say that we don’t know how to go about discovering what it is we are to know and do
for the various seasons in our lives. You have signposts that you can use to know what God has deposited in your life that would aid your purpose in life. These signposts are in you already. They are
not skills you have to get, they are already deposited in you.
So I have an exercise that would like you to do. I did this exercise about 16years ago and I am doing
every single thing I put up in that post. So like I said, purpose in life is a journey.

YOUR PURPOSE IS TIED TO PEOPLE.
Your purpose in life is tied to people. You cannot have an isolated purpose where it’s all about you and what you want and how you want it. If it isn’t people oriented, then it is not from God. Everything God does on earth is about His people and how He wants them to know that He loves them and He isn’t angry with them.
While writing this, remember that you are to consecrate yourself to God. You would be surprised that there are some things you have that you didn’t know you had them. Visit your book weekly… pray over what you have written. Keep discovering things about yourself and document them. Some of you might be good at keeping journals, that’s also good.
I remember when I was praying to God concerning His call upon my life... I told him anything but the 5fold ministry but my heart had already been inclined to being in the ministry so when he told me and I for confirmation, I was not surprised
Also... GET MENTORS... you are not an isolated island..... You need people who would tell you that your plan, thought, idea or desire is genuine or a just an imagination

I did not say because I have heard from God, then I won't listen to wise counsel... A lot of people did that in my generation and now, they don't have a voice anymore
I submitted myself to God and spiritual authority
Correction is necessary when growing up! Seen a friend who's parents indulged him or her growing up... How are they now?
Be humble under the might hand of God and He God not you will elevate you... Be smart... The Bible says in Hebrews that we should follow those who through faith and patience obtained the promise.... Wisdom
