Pastor Titi Adigun speaks: Good day Ladies. I count this a great privilege. I don't take this opportunity to be a blessing to YOU lightly at all so I want to thank the visioneer of Ladies of Grace for giving me this opportunity. God bless you. And to you for being online at this time, THANK YOU too

I also want to thank the great women that have gone ahead of me and have laid the proper foundation in helping us understand our worth and purpose as ladies. Please don't trade This things you have learnt but make up your mind to apply the knowledge.

This afternoon we will be talking about our relationships. A proper understanding of your worth and purpose will help you relate excellently with both God and man.

Everyone born of woman was made for relationship. A song says we were made to love and be loved. Even God needed relationship so He created man and when man messed up He did the best possible for that relationship to be restored. We are made for both vertical (with God) and (horizontal (with people) relationships.

Let's take a look at the vertical relationship. When God created us, He created a vacuum in us that only Him can fill. Every human trys hard to fill this void and until he finds God, he lives frustrated because nothing and no one in this world can satisfy.

Dear Ladies, we were not made to enjoy our lives without God. The male folks find us complicated but the truth is that there are many sides to us. We are wired yo be and do so much. If our relationship with our maker is not the way it should be, life would be overwhelming and unbearable.

Apart from being born again, which I believe many of us are, I want to plead with you to build, nurture and cultivate a relationship with God. As plug in a socket, please your connection with God flowing. Don't just plug in but switch on and keep it on.

 Spend quality time with God everyday and very importantly, be best friends with the Holy Spirit. He makes relating with God sweeter because He keeps you on point.I believe we know that God is the only Unending Source of all you will ever need to live a great life. What other  connection is worth all your investment!

Please have personal times with God and know Him for yourself for who He really is. Let me add you should also fellowship with other Christians,  read spiritual books and do everything to grow the relationship.

Never forget that God is always near, even when you mess up, He will be there to clean up your mess. NEVER run from God!!!!!

 Others includes every other person apart from yourself. This means that they are different from you in at least one way.

 If our relationship with God was all that mattered then we should all sleep (not die) the moment we are born again and go to Jesus to enjoy unbroken fellowship. But God leaves us on earth so we can also relate with others.

For the horizontal relationship, we will be looking at people generally and guys specifically😉..... Guys seem to be important objects of discussion when ladies gather right?

 I'm sure we know what should be and what shouldn't be when we are relating with people. Due to our varying backgrounds and environment I believe that 'normal' would be very relative.

 So I will be talking about the most important aspects of relationship that would apply wherever you are in the world and whoever it is that you are relating with.

 I know you have heard it uncounted number of times that you should love your neighbour but please listen to me because I have come to know this personally that LOVE NEVER FAILS!

 Nobody rejects love, they may deny it or shy away from it initially  but eventually they will be drawn by it. God is Love and we are God's and gods so it is when expected that we love like God loves. In fact that is an instruction in the Bible.well I know many if not all of us can preach a sermon on Love😀.

The world is filled with all kinds of people and when I say all kinds I mean ALL KINDS. You see or hear what people do and you are like is this person human? If you look at your present location, your family, your classmates, your roommates, your fellow church members, your colleagues at work and your neighbours, you will discover that these people are different fro, you

But no matter who they are, LOVE breaks every barrier. For you to live at peace with all men, you need love in your heart. Not just love but the God kind of love.

 God's love is long, wide, high and deep. It passes your understanding. It's  purely unconditional. It loves the unlovable. It is described in First Corinthians 13.

 The Spirit of God who I told you to be best friends with fills your heart with this love, roots and grounds you in this love. So please above all else, seek to know this love. Ask that God's love finds expression through your mouth, your hands and your life as a whole. As it does, you get to relate well with people.

 One other aspect of relationship with others is Service. The best example of serving others I love is when Jesus washed His disciples feet. Before that story was narrated, the Bible mentions Jesus knowing who He was and where He came from.... and that what He was about to do was to show the full extent of His love John 13:1-3

In all your interactions with people and your relationships please seek to serve. As ladies, this is so inevitable. You seem to serve all your life just that the people you serve change per phase of your life

 Service has to be in love because sometimes your service is taken for granted, goes unnoticed or is thrown back in your face....Remember, he that must be first must serve

Something I learned from what Jesus did was that the fact that he washed His disciples feet did not strip Him of His identity but He left an indelible mark on the hearts of His disciples.

 Wherever you are, please know you will not be there forever so as much as you can, serve the people there, be a blessing to them and let their thoughts of you years after put a smile on their faces😀

 People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.

I envisaged time won't be enough so let me summarise the last part of this discussion

 Guys! Guys!! Guys!!! Guys!!!!!!

I don't know the different phases we are in this meeting as regards our relationship with guys

 Whether you are yet to be in a relationship or you said yes to him yesterday  or you think he will propose tomorrow or the aso ebi for you wedding is ovebooked, please know that guys are wonderful people😀.

 They mean as much to God as you are. They are wired differently from us and every guy is unique is his approach to life and struggles. So please appreciate the guys in your life every time you have an opportunity too from your granddad to your baby nephew.

There's so much to say about guys but please let me say 2 important things

1. There is a boy, a king in every man. Just like ladies, guys shoes up differently at different times. But one thing that guys value is Respect! You need to be able to identify what your fiance or husband needs per time and respectfully give it to him.

2. One message we shout on the rooftops in MINE Teenage Ministry is NOSUM!!!!!!!!.This means No Sex Until Marriage

 Please know or be reminded that any guy that loves you will wait to be married to you before he touches you. Touching you means everything sexual not just having sex. There is a part of Love that many of us don't recognise and it is Love says NO too. There are times you have to say NO (shout if need be) insistently and consistently because you love him. I say this because I must admit that for him to be in a relationship with you there is physical attraction and his wiring sometimes drives him to want to taste what will be his for life but your saying NO might be the alarm he needs to get back on track.

Really I'm glad I'm a part of this. I think it will be proper to stop here trusting God that the seeds have been sown. They will be watered and God will bring the harvest in many folds.

 Before I stop finally I want to thank God for my Husband. He is the instrument God is using to teach me many of the things I know and God has used him to place me on different platforms to be a blessing. Please celebrate him for me any way you can.
